Terms & Conditions

Cancellations & Rescheduling

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged 50% of the scheduled groom price. A deposit may also be required upon next booking if cancelled outside of this time frame.

Health & Behaviour

All dogs should be up to date with vaccinations, though not essential. Owners must inform the groomer of any health issues, injuries, or behavioural concerns prior to the appointment.

Dogs must be well behaved and non-aggressive towards the groomer. Aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated and the groomer reserves the right to refuse service if necessary. Muzzles may be used for the safety of the dog and groomer if the groomer feels necessary.

No shows

You will be given a 10 minute grace period from your appointment time before you are classed as a no show. You will be required to pay 100% of the missed appointment.

Any future appointments will also be cancelled until the fee is paid. A deposit may be required upon next booking.

Fleas

We ask that you please do your best to make sure your dog does not have any fleas before entering the salon. If you know your dog has fleas, please reschedule your appointment so we can minimise the risk of transfer to others.

Should fleas be found whilst your dog is in our care, there will be a £10 charge per dog added to your final bill. This is to cover the cost of sanitising the salon and the use of flea shampoo.

Matting

Following the Animal Welfare Act, if your dog arrives with matting in the coat, the groomer will carry out the work that is humanely best. This could result in shaving close to the skin to start over. It may also reveal skin problems that were previously hidden by the matting.

As the owner, you take full responsibility for any issues revealed once matting is removed. The cost of clipping off a matted coat includes a £5-£20 matting charge at the discretion of the groomer, to cover additional equipment maintenance and time.

If you do not agree to the removal of the matted coat, the grooming session cannot go ahead and the full time slot will still be charged. Regular appointments every 4-8 weeks can help prevent matting. A short, practical style may also be easier to maintain between visits.

Late Collection

Leoluxe is a 1-1, multi groomer salon with no cages. If you are later than the agreed pick up time, there will be a late collection charge of £5 per 15 minutes added to your final bill.

I will make every effort to contact you if the pick up time has changed. Please ensure you have a means of contact in these circumstances. Please give notice if you will be late for collection.

Pricing

Leoluxe prices services fairly and accurately. However, in some cases the original price quoted may change due to the dog's behaviour, coat type or condition.

I will make every effort to contact you if the price has changed from the original quote. Please ensure you have a means of contact available in these circumstances.

Corrections

Leoluxe does its best to follow requested styling. If you leave the salon and are not happy with something, you have 48 hours to contact us so we can make any adjustments.

We do not offer refunds, as time and products have already been used during your dog’s groom.

Liability

All care is taken to ensure your dog’s safety and comfort. However, grooming can expose pre-existing conditions such as skin irritations, lumps, or sensitivities.

Leoluxe cannot be held responsible for issues that arise due to pre-existing conditions or matting.
